What is PTSA?
All parents are invited and encouraged to join the Parent/Teacher/Student Association. Our school benefits tremendously from the contributions of our PTSA. The PTSA hosts many events throughout the year that directly help support education at John P. Freeman Optional School. Why Join the PTSA? The number one reason is to benefit your child/ children. Here are a few more: Get Connected. There is no better way to know what is happening in your school. Discover Great Resources. The PTSA offers a variety of programs designed for parents as well as students. Network! Parenting is not easy. Sharing ideas, concerns and experiences with other parents and educators is rewarding. PTSA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers. You can build lasting relationships while discussing issues that are on your mind. Watch Yourself Grow. By volunteering with your PTSA you gain valuable experiences. It is anvopportunity to put your skills and hobbies to use for a good cause – your child and all children in our community. Witness Improvement. PTSA plays an important role in fundraising to provide school improvements, curriculum based programs and social events. Be a Role Model. By becoming a member, you’ll show your child/children the importance of volunteering. |
